"Ich bin ein Berliner"

50 years after iconic JFK speech "Ich bin ein Berliner", President Barack Obama made a speech about "the world without nuclear weapon" in front of the Brandenburg Gate day before yesterday in Berlin. The world changed a lot in this fifty years.

Berlin wall erected. Families, lovers, thoughts, informations... so many things were separated. Number of nuclear weapons in the world increased drastically. "Tear down this wall!" Ronald Reagan screamed. It falled down when I was born. Obama proposed reducing the American nuclear arsenal by as much as a third during his first visit to the German capital. And time goes by.

Remembering my stay in Berlin about two years ago, I was too amateur to know the world's histories and think about the world's future. Now, I'm studying world history by my self and I'm thinking a bit more of next 50 years.

Standing in front of the world's historic monuments probably affected me to think about the world's tragedies and peace.

"Ich bin ein Berliner"

Someday, I would like to go back to the city where so many world's honors try to scream out the importance of the future.
